Community Impact
HS&C provides direct support to families in the home, particularly those navigating systemic barriers within school infrastructures that often hinder student success. This is done by advocacy, guidance, needed services, resources and collaboration with schools and community partners.
Home Impact helps families overcome these obstacles by strengthening engagement, and improve educational
and social outcomes for youth.
HS&C works with school leaders to build bridges with families. We meet with school officials to problem-solve and seek solutions to keep students on track with academics, workforce development
and college readiness. HSC Impact Services has served students since 1998 through comprehensive mentorship and youth development programming.
We serve youth and young adults ages
8–21, supporting both individual growth and family stability. HS&C strengthens families through school-based services and community outreach, providing educational tools and wraparound supports that improve quality of life across the community.
Our approach is holistic and wellness-centered, promoting social-emotional development, mental wellness, and academic achievement. Services are delivered in collaboration with schools, families, and community businesses, creating a strong system that is critical to positive outcomes for youth and families.

HS&C provides ongoing professional development, training, and education to community members using evidence-based practices. The program equips individuals with the skills needed to support students and their families in personal growth, development, and long-term stability.
Through intentional and healthy engagement, Community Impact builds collaboration, strengthens trust, and reinforces the entire ecological system connecting families, schools, and community partners.
Educational workshops and community events empower families to establish positive, drug-free lifestyles, strengthen employability and workforce readiness skills, and engage in meaningful volunteer opportunities that contribute to society. The community business helps to address job-quality factors to reduce burnout and increase resilience.
The overarching goal of Community Impact is to break down systemic barriers through education and equitable access to opportunities. Participants are supported in navigating future-focused goals that influence both their daily lives and long-term success within their home communities
Additional Programming
HSC is dedicated to providing Basic Life Support and CPR training to students and families. Our participants receive certificates with seals upon completion. We strive to create a community hub that strengthens partnerships and enhances the lives of families.
At HSC, we believe that it takes a village to raise families with kids.
